The $198 drone. $37 a motor.
The number that moves is the motor — four magnet-free, rare-earth-free SRM motors at $37 each = $148, a deliberate sovereignty premium out of the foreign NdFeB chokehold. Tap any line to model the BOM and watch the indigenous-content % move.
| Component | Source | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Magnet-free SRM motor ×4 | Rare-earth-free, Pune · $37 ea | $148 |

IDDM sovereignty score
Buy-Indian-IDDM needs ≥50% indigenous content. We clear it with headroom.
30 capabilities. Tap any one.
Magnet-free propulsion · decentralised swarm comms · CPU-only autonomy · all-domain. Hover or tap a chip for the detail — and the honest caveat where one applies.
Jam a node. The swarm reroutes.
LoRa · Meshtastic · MeshCore — a fully decentralised mesh with no ground station to find and destroy. Tap any node to jam it and watch traffic route around the dead link. Kill nodes; the mission continues.
8 steps = one drone every ~31 seconds.
"8 steps" is the full journey of a single airframe — from raw carbon and aluminium to a sealed, flight-tested unit in a shipping container — running on Swiss-sourced equipment under one factory AI. At 2,740 units/day that is a finished drone roughly every 31 seconds. Tap a step for throughput, the machine, and what the AI does there.
The questions MoD & the Army ask.
Grounded in DAP 2020 · IDDM · CEMILAC / IMTAR V2.0 · Drone Shakti. Tap a question for our answer and the source. Press-reported figures are flagged — we don't over-claim.
50 objections a hostile board would raise.
We pre-empted the evaluation. The two bid-killers — Swiss-equipment-vs-indigenisation and RF-jamming — are answered hardest. Tap any objection for our rebuttal.
Tooling sourced through reliable Swiss channels.
The capital line is procured and integrated through neutral, NDAA-clean Swiss sources — Bystronic lasers, Stäubli robotics and Swiss-integrated precision equipment. It is one-time capital that localises production permanently in India: the opposite of recurring import dependence. Indian crews run L1–L3 maintenance, critical spares are stocked, and there is no single foreign chokepoint on the line.
One-time capital
Buy the machines once; make drones in Pune forever. No per-unit foreign content from the tooling.
Land-border exposure
Neutral Swiss jurisdiction — clean of the prohibited-country supply chain the June-2024 MoD directive targets.
Indian-maintained
Technicians trained to self-maintain; escrowed service continuity insulates the line from sanction or export-control shocks.
Built for Indian Army acquisition standards.
Post-Operation Sindoor, the MoD cleared large-scale emergency procurement weighted toward drones, counter-drone and loitering munitions. Suppliers must clear Buy-Indian-IDDM (≥50% indigenous content). Our ~92% Pune BOM and Indian-owned design clear it.
India drone market 2026
Drones & anti-drones, growing under PLI + Drone Shakti.
IDDM threshold
Indigenous content for priority Army procurement — we exceed it.
Per kinetic kill
vs ~$4.1M for a PAC-3 round — the cost-exchange argument.
Sovereign AI
1.58-bit ternary inference on CPUs — the one part India can't yet make, designed out.
